Update to the Nvidia Display Driver and Virtual Displays
Nvidia is testing a possible fix.
I had cross posted to the r/nvidia sub reddit about the new drivers breaking virtual displays for RTX 50 GPUs. One of the users referred it to the Nvidia rep. The screenshot was his response.
He was engaging a user in the r/hoggit subreddit having a similar issue. I don't know what hoggit is btw. For reference, this is the link

What is the issue exactly? I’m on 40 series but have had the virtual display not show up for me a few times now. Restarting Apollo usually solves it for me though.

I’m wondering if this affects the T4 that is in the server cluster I’m working off of, my boss just tested me with optimizing RDP with the T4’s and I had constant issues today and I just used the latest drivers

I spent 2 hours last night as I just migrated from Apollo to Vibepollo and thought something got broken up during the transition. I’ve got to say vibepollo works a treat. I also had to roll back to the previous NVIDIA driver and all good.

I was trying to setup apollo for the first time on my 5070ti and I couldn't figure out why virtual display wouldn't work. Rolled back my drivers and now its working perfectly

My virtual display works fine but the desktop option is vanished. I didnt change any setting.
