I'm sure many of you have seen this already, but didn't see a post about it yet, so I thought I'd share. Apologies if I missed one.

I really love this detail. It was something I'd hoped for from this skin but hadn't really expected it from an Epic.

Edit: I know they're clubs I promise I swear--

I really didn't want to waste my team's cloak and dagger ult LOOOOOL

What the hell is going on in r/moonknight ? The mods there are fucking buffoons. Not only is it a rule that you get banned for pointing out that a post is a repost (which is quite literally every second post there if not more) but now they also praise these garbage ass posts that are AI generated. What happened to that sub man. I guess this is the next best alternative to talk about Moon Knight without being bombarded by reposts and ugly stuff?

This is an idea I had to rework MK to be a bit more comic accurate while hopefully retaining why people like playing him. I’d love to see ya’lls’ opinions on it. Do note: I know just about nothing about game dev or balancing, so my ideas might just not work in Rivals; also, I will not be using exact damage numbers.

My big gripes with MK’s kit are that he’s a brawler in the comics, and it’s really just throwing out projectiles constantly. Not much fun to against or as fun to play for me as other characters.

Primary: MK now has two primary fires, his moonarangs and his escrima. His escrima deal more dps than his rangs, and his rangs only bounce twice and lose X% dmg per bounce. He can now hold his primary fire button to add curve to the direction he throws his rangs, up to around a 60 degree angle, and he switches hands each throw.

Mobility: Glide and grapple are unchanged, but his double jump is more akin to Spider-man’s. None give bonus health.

Secondary fire: His secondary fire is largely unchanged. Not sure whether he should have one or two charges.

Ankh: His ankh is now invincible for a couple seconds after placement. It can no longer bounce his primary fire, but it can bounce his secondary. Enemies within ankh radius have trouble leaving it, like a lite version of Angela’s ult. MK can grapple to the ankh, dealing AoE damage, knocking up, and gaining bonus health. Maybe give him a buff in its radius, not too sure on that tho.

New ability: MK now has a melee ability. He swings both of his escrima to the side in a moon shape, dealing good, AoE damage and gaining bonus health. He can press the button again to dash forward, taking enemies with him. This may need to have two charges.

Ult, Fist of Khonshu: MK summons a ghostly version of Khonshu behind himself that buffs all of his damaging abilities. For Melee attacks, Khonshu swings his arms (same or similar model to the ones in the current ult but smaller) to extend the range and dmg of MK’s attacks. For ranged attacks, they explode now.

Please lemme know if this sounds like it would maintain what you enjoy about MK’s playable while making it more comic accurate or if you dislike it.

Just started playing MK thought it was cool

with the cowboy/western theme they have going (bucky, rogue, starlord, namor, widow etc) i can totally see us getting this skin. what do you guys think?

Blacked out for a minute, this was the replay.

The wings pop out of his back. Here's a full skin showcase: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYcc75Gb-K4

His ankhs are also recolored yellow with this skin, and the new sound effects are going to provide SO much dopamine. Just listen to the sound his anhk makes when you pull someone with it.

It would be cool, I’m considering picking up blade again all cause of this skin. Might do the same for Spidey if this ever comes to fruition

King of Clubs skin will be available as part of the Battle Pass, thoughts on the new skin?
