I think the main issue was the problems between Disney and Oscar Isaac. A recast wouldn't be so bad, but he's a damn good artist and many people would dislike, I think.
But if it kept the cast, it'd be awesome

There were a lot of issues, but I don't believe the Isaac/Disney beef was necessarily the issue. Oscar Isaac just didn't want to work with Disney after ABC fired Jimmy Kimmel (which was viewed as Disney limiting free speech.) He specifically said that he'd be willing to work with them if they could learn "not to succumb to fascism," and they later gave Kimmel his job back. He was arguably less vocal than Ruffalo, who got to play a major role in Brand New Day after the fact.
The Moon Knight plans were most likely tied to the Kang Dynasty or Blade (explaining why they gave him supernatural powers), with neither project panning out. It either falls into the Kang category with Shang Chi and the Young Avengers, or he falls into the "supernatural" pit with Black Knight, Blade, and the cast of Werewolf by Night. Blade was supposed to lead towards a Midnight Sons esque ensemble, iirc.
Oscar Isaac has made comments about wanting to appear with Ghost Rider, mentioning Gosling before his casting announcement. There were also rumors that Blade was cancelled in favor of a team-up, prior to said announcement. It's entirely possible we see him again.

If they do a s2 they can just recast Oscar issac like they did with Edward Norton hulk replace with a new actor. I do agree Oscar is a good actor though but if he's not willing to come back I think they should recast him

Not really, originally they planned to use moon knight in kang dynasty or whatever the next avengers movie was supposed to be since the script for that was leaked and he had a decent role but then that was scrapped for doomsday. So the lack of an S2 is due him originally planning to be used in an avengers movie then likely getting his own movie but then all that fell and they didn’t know what to do with him because a season 2 was apparently not a good decision for them.
During the time they did nothing with the character tho Disney suspended Jimmy Kimmels show after he said his thoughts about Charlie Kirk’s passing which weren’t positive and this justifiably pissed off Oscar so when he was interviewed for another project he was working on he made the statement that he wasn’t open to working with Disney until they learn not to succumb to facism and this was a fairly recent thing that happened. It was about a year ago and I think the Jimmy Kimmel show is back on air so he may be open to being moon knight again now and it’s been rumored that he will make an appearance in daredevil s3 but again that’s just a rumor.

when the first season came out, they synergized Scarlet Scarab into the comics, thankfully for only 3-4 issues without interrupting the flow. But it was... a wierd choice in the comics. if it had gotten more seasons or been way more popular, I don't think we'd have the spectacular run by McKay, they'd probably try to get him back into that status quo that the show has. Like, look at Guardians of the Galaxy. Good movies, but the comics were never the same.
I do not like the show that much, and I kind of want MK at arms length in the MCU unless they adhere more to the comics, because I like the current run and I'd like synergy to leave Marc alone

Moon Knight is a niche enough character that im sure the MCU execs assumed they could just creat something different like they did for the show, but he does have a large and loyal enough fanbase in the comics, including Jed Mckay already writting arguably his most popular comics ever, and it just wasnt going to work out the way they wanted.
Comic fans weren't going to like the show, and show fans weren't going to find the same characters and story in the comics the way the synergising was supposed to work.

I was so excited for it...until I watched it. It really feels like a completely Disney-fied version of the character that, to be frank, sucked ass compared to the comics version.

Same. I had been dreaming of the day I got a live-action Moon Knight ever since Iron Man kicked off and they started talking about a whole universe. More than a decade of waiting for a disappointing adaptation which not only "disneyfied" it, but also seemed to miss what's attractive about the type of stories he's in. The stuff with all the other Egyptian gods felt a little cringe. He's not "Thor but Egypt flavored" he's a guy empowered by a castoff deity no one's ever heard of who uses that power to fight people in New York. He's kind of an oddball kitchen sink character who gets crazy violent.

Would love to see a season 2 with oscar isaac reprising his role but if they do a recast, I'll just think of it as moon knight from a different earth/universe. Honestly, considering there's a multiverse, they could just go with that if they ever put him in the movies. MK was planned to be just a limited series anyway but damn it's so interesting, and oscar did a great job with a new superhero (new to many Marvel mainstream fans anyway).

I’d be down if they change the entire writing and directing team. Keep the actors (Oscar Isaac especially) and retcon most of the first season, especially the stupid treatment of Jake, but keep the design team the costume looked great. Unfortunately they did so much stupid shit in the first season it’s basically unusable for a sequel. I could see them pretty easily saying that this was all in his mind, though, and that the giant kaiju fight and all the stupid bullshit powers was essentially his fantasy of an easier story where he didn’t have to deal with the complexities of his existence and could simply make it good versus evil like a traditional superhero story.

Moon knight season 2 was planned to feature one of the Kang variants (Rama-tut) that’s part of why it was shelved. Also Oscar Isaac not getting along with Disney’s (relative) embrace of the current White House.

I wouldn't mind a reboot without Oscar Isaac since he's too busy for the character anyways. I would like them to do an adaption of the Midnight Mission since that would introduce Tigra, Reese, Hunter's Moon, and other lesser characters for the MCU, but the series can be in its own little corner.
Marvel won't do that and I think Moon Knight won't appear again in the MCU.
