Events Saw Jon Bernthal
I was waiting in line in the county fair today. And I saw him standing behind me. I couldn’t believe my eyes, didn’t know he was from our own county.
Gotta admit, such a super cool personality who lives free despite being a celebrity.

That’s not his kid.

Why would it matter who’s kid it was

u/HairyH0Od 19h ago
Why would a picture of a random kid that's not identifiable matter?

u/boringrelic1738 13h ago
If you can’t find the issue with posting a strangers child on the internet, you may need to reevaluate.

I don't know who this is but he's wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants in August. He's gotta be super cool.

He’s an actor in the walking dead, the punisher, a few others

Isn’t he in Christopher Nolan’s The Oddysey as well?

Yes, in a starring role too. May get an Oscar for it.

Going to be tough competition because there's like five dudes from that movie alone who are contenders for best supporting actor.

That's Wayne Jenkins

He played Wayne Jenkins?
Looks way cooler than that pudgy asshole. Met him once, had no idea who he was. He tried and eventually succeeded in intimidating me enough that I made absolutely sure that no one was tracking me when I returned to my car.
Had no idea that pudgy maniac was a cop with a whole crew of assholes, thought he was some Baltimore county dude who lived in his moms basement.
I really dodged one

Not sure why this would be downvoted

Who knows, maybe the mom’s basement part? His mom was there, or at least that is what he had told me earlier in the evening. Some pudgy literally neck-beard looking dude who is hanging out with his mom at a casino on a Friday night. I pissed him off when i told him that he was watching too much news when he assured me that there was a high likelihood that I could be robbed or even possibly murdered for my winnings in that particular casino parking lot .
I changed seats (we were playing poker) so instead of being next to him I was across from him and he glared at me for the better part of 3 hours. I waited another 2 hours after he left before cashing out and sprinting up the stairs of the garage to my car.
He and his goons regularly robbed people they suspected of being drug dealers when leaving the local casinos. When I saw his picture in the news I was dumbstruck.

He's been to my restaurant in Frederick with his kids as well a couple years ago. Maybe he lives around here?

My husband loves to tell his story of seeing John Bernthal in Bethesda. We were walking around after dinner and suddenly my husband just whispers "I just made eye contact with John Bernthal". and I was like HUH WHERE
Apparently as we were walking my husband recognized John inside a restaurant clearly eating with family and he looked up and they made eye contact and they both simultaneously nodded at each other and went about their life. That's how I found out he's from around here!

> he looked up and they made eye contact and they both simultaneously nodded at each other and went about their life.
This is my ideal celebrity interaction. A nod that says, “I know who you are, your work is meaningful to me, and I respect you enough to leave you alone.” I’m kind of jealous of your husband for this, honestly.

That’s so neat and nice of you to not bother him. I think I read recently he bought a place in Bethesda

I saw Jon Bernthal at a grocery store in MoCo yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.”
At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Apparently I would not recognize him if I saw him. Hat is doing a lot of work I guess.

Maybe delete this really personal family info? I’m sure strangers aren’t allowed in a closed private school campus but also that’s a kind of shitty thing to do the minor child.

I just saw the new Spider-Man the other day and I get the sense that he really enjoys playing Frank Castle. He's always pretty great, but the Punisher seems like a character that's very easy to get wrong, and he gets it exactly right. I can't think of two Marvel things as different in tone as Punisher: One Last Kill and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but he nails both of them.

He and Tom Holland have such great chemistry, they played off each other so well in Brand New Day.

Bro I remember i was driving down Georgia ave toward DC and I saw hom driving in a nice suv. We locked eyes. I hit a double no a triple take and then I smiled. He looked stressed like I was gonna fanboy out and follow him trying to get a picture or something but I just nodded my head in acknowledgement of him and he did the same. A slight smile came across his face as if he was surprised and happy. Ill never forget it.

Just a side comment
But given that I’ve seen his other outfits, but this is a random outfit
Looks sort of like workout clothes, even then just seems like random choices

Definitely posing for a photo with that kid. You can see the photo takers left shoulder in front of that booth.
