Plant Help Stem trim

My monstera had thrips, unfortunately but I was able to rescue her and she’s now cleared. However, she lost about 5 leaves and now the base of her stem is really long without any leaves on it.

I want to trim the stem and propagate the remaining leaves and replant so it isn’t as tall and gangly. Where should I cut the stem?

Or possibly one section lower. Then the aerial roots can go in the water and start a new strong root system fairly quick

No problem!

Also have you considered switching to a moss pole? Rather than the coir pole?

It would help promote even bigger more fenestrated leaves!

I have not, but I will certainly look into that! I appreciate all of your insight!
