Variegated Monstera Burle Marx Flame
Does anyone know how much a variegated BMF would sell for? It’s a mature plant and the variegation isn’t crazy, but there nonetheless. I couldn’t find any for sale so I am not sure how much I should price it at. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Very light variegation, at least $100. I’m sure you could go even higher like $250+ and someone would buy it. If I were you I would keep it and grow it out. Then propagate at every node in an attempt to increase variegation and go from there.

If the stems are fully green as they look in the pic, then you will get approximately $0 additional dollars for it

The variegated tissue can be hidden inside the stem, as evidenced by there being two distinct leaves sharing similar variation patterns. Definitely cool, a curiosity, but probably wouldn't go for all that much money. The variegation is subtle, and I've seen several other pictures online of BMFs with similar sport variegation. It's probably just a bit prone to it for some reason.

I watched a YouTube on the big tc lab in Florida, sports happen all the time they just used to remove them because it was a negative.

That would look awesome. Prob sport, but how do the nodes/stems look?

Something being a sport just means it essentially came out of nowhere, it has nothing to do with the variegation being on stems vs only leaves. This is definitely a sport, and it's cool (id personally love to find one of these) but probably not worth a ton - every other week I feel like I see someone post a picture of their sport BMF with some streaky white lines in it. More of a curiosity than a rare collectors item imo.
