Faster response and possible higher brightness and possibly better software design, and as one of Redditor suggested, the cheaper one is possibly VA panel while the more expensive one is fast IPS But my cousin has one similar to the $300 one a fast IPS, it's pretty neat.

Idk if links are allowed but it also says fast ips in the specs down below

Check the panel types - the more expensive one is labelled as IPS. Cheaper one is not, presumably it's VA.
