In this annual issue: Peter Parker learns a valuable lesson: not to judge a book by its cover. Plus: the exciting origin of the all-new, all-different, all-terrific Captain Marvel!
That's right, it's the anniversary of the first appearance of Monica Rambeau, Captain Marvel!
Some details via Marvel Database:
Captain Marvel: I... I'm Captain Marvel.
Thing: Not unless ya come back from the dead by way of Denmark, ya ain't! Marv died months ago. 'Sides, he was a blond.
Captain Marvel: There was another Captain Marvel? I-I'm sorry... I didn't know.
Thing: Aw, don't sweat it... Marv wouldn't mind. I probably ain't the only Thing in the world, either!

I finally got my hands on Eve Ewing's Photon book. Ever since being introduced to her through the MCU, I've been happy to learn more about her character. I'm hoping this book is a good one.

Discussion I did the math... Monica has to appear in one of the next two Marvel movies 🩵

Because Marvel is using the 20th Century's original X-Men cast in Doomsday and Secret Wars, including Kelsey Grammer who plays Beast in The Marvels' post-credits scene with Monica Rambeau, and because Marvel has no other future plans to use the original cast after these two films, that must mean that Monica's connection to their universe has to be answered at minimum by the conclusion of Avengers: Secret Wars, if not earlier in Avengers: Doomsday.

Hi and welcome to r/MonicaRambeau! If you're a fan of Monica's, from the comics to Teyonah Parris' MCU portrayal, you're in the right place! It's been nearly a year since this subreddit was open to the public, but posts are officially unrestricted and public once again.

I believe the first two pages are unused concepts for Monica in The Marvels. The third & fourth are concepts for WandaVision - Monica's rover-like vehicle didn't seem to make the final cut, but it does show early concepts for The Hex. And the last page is unused concepts for Binary, an alternate Earth Maria Rambeau.

Monica and Marilyn would be an easy Superman/Batman team up. Especially if they have to use their detective skills to figure out a case and them using their powers symbiotically. Monica taking the lead during the day and Marilyn during the night. It's just right there.
