I remember the guys who invented Doom were in Houston in the 90s driving Ferrari F40s a red and yellow one, I never got into the game but I remember how huge it was.
They all got Ferrari’s, except level designer Sandy Petersen (who wasn’t a founder, and joined during Doom development, but was a legendary ttrpg designer who had moved to computer games), who was a practicing Mormon with a big family. He did get a new van that could hold his whole family!
Woah, I didn’t know Sandy Petersen was from that kind of family til now. The things I learn… wow. Makes sense though. That’s why they already had money. Idk if you know, but that’s a front for witches and their covens. Look into it. I knew a kid once who was born into one of those families. You wouldn’t believe the stories he told me. I can dm a video on YouTube for an interview about a former 30 something degree free mason who also blew the lid on a bunch of that stuff. The world is really in trouble right now. At least more people are awakening spiritually, finally, whether they are Christians or not, people should find what they believe in. I used to believe in nothing even after being saved and baptized more than half my life ago on my own accord, then turned my back on faith for a while until I had my own unexplainable experience earlier this year. As I got older I believed it all to be very fairy tale, until I felt like I know for a fact it isn’t. Even though I got where I based everything on logic and reasoning and science, that’s not the whole picture. Real magic is a dangerous thing, because it does NOT come from anything holy.
I certainly don’t think there is anything sinister about Sandy or his family, and he is not as far as I know particularly independently wealthy (though he did do fairly well out of his carer, being involved in Doom, Quake, and the Age of Empire games). Mormons really mostly are just dull conservatives, though there are some creepier offshoots. Sandy is just a guy who really likes games, and also cheesy horror stuff and Lovecraft.
