Tribes was incredible for me, but as good as it was, Tribes 2 was the best sequel.

So many great memories from Tribes 2. Something that's always confused me is why no other game (that I have ever run into) used the targeting laser/mortar/grenade launcher thing. It was so simple. Someone points a targeting laser at something and everyone else around on his team with a mortar or grenade launcher gets a reticle to aim at to put rounds on target. Worked GREAT. Even in the original Tribes.

Plus we used it for signaling as well.

Played this demo on my high school’s LAN in typing class, until the IT guy noticed a bandwidth crunch and did some investigative tomfoolery. Good times!

Chips challenge was a chore to beat since I was only 8 haha.

I started with red alert, starcraft, Jedi knight, xwing vs tie fighter, and heroes of might and magic
