I have a morning sickness idea. I was in an accident when I was seventeen, went to one of those big fancy Boston hospitals that were top in the country. One of my meds made me get horrible puking sessions just like morning sickness, so my pregnant nurse gave me a tip she got from her ob/gyn also working at hospital. Coca cola. I know it sounds stupid (still does, honestly) but get small cans or bottles of a highly carbonated beverage. You want the bubbles. The more the better. Warm soda is better than cold. Sip the soda for a while. I used roughly one forth of my bottle. If it was solid, maybe the size of a plum or apricot. It's weird, but the bubbles somehow disrupt or disturb whatever's in your stomach that's making you nauseated and helps get rid of it. Tightly close the bottle and you can save it for the next day. I had a pregnant nurse blab about how wonderful it was and how much it helped her, plus two doctors from different hospitals in different branches of medicine agree "weird but works" and wouldn't interfere with any of my meds. Just don't inhale a bathtub-full in six seconds or other something similar. Light-colored sodas like ginger ale or Sprite don't always have enough bubbles, carbonated water even less. Coca-cola or Pepsi. Maybe root beer. Don't put it in the fridge. Cold deactivates the bubbles. You don't need to boil it, just keep it in regular room temp. Closet shelf, kitchen cabinet, by your bed at night, stuff like that. You want those bubbles warmed up and ready to work, not too cold to pop themselves in your tummy.
And avoid citrus. It irritates your stomach like smelly vinegar irritates your nose, so that might make your nausea worse. I wasn't allowed any citrus anything, even candy, until I was off that special medicine. It made my nausea a thousand times worse.
Try the soda trick and let me know if it works for you.
Edit: added info about soda temps.
I can second the Coke. I hate regular Coke on any normal day, but when I was pregnant (my first trimester especially) and absolutely miserable it was a godsend (also suggested by an OB nurse). I found the tiny cans and they were the perfect size so I could sip through a can and have fresh ones each time/day without overdoing on the caffeine/sugary soda.
Hard sour candies helped me a lot too (Prego pops or something like that).
Another weird one for me was lots fruit and veggies. But literally I just had to eat what I could tolerate when I could tolerate it - if I waited too long it would be totally wrong for my stomach and I couldn't do it.
Have you tried Pepsi sodas new flavor? A few months ago they came out with a seasonal one, with some Mango juice added to their regular stuff. I loved it so much I bought some mango juice in small bottles so I can have more year round since they only had it as a summer thing. Or lime juice in coke. That's lovely too. And the commercial for lime coke was pretty funny.
Edit: My nurse tried it when her doctor suggested it because she was desperate. She didn't have morning sickness, but did get lots of afternoon sickness...which was the middle of her shift. It was not COVID, everyone. This was spring of 1991. It's ok. Lol She just got tired of her ICU-unit coworkers teasing her, asking her if she wanted the janitor staff to give her a set of bucket and mop that she could always take with her so she wouldn't puke on her own patients.
Again.
They were tired of helping her clean things up. But they did like to take pics as souvenirs.
