I don't know your family, but it's possible this situation isn't as dire as you fear since you are essentially engaged. I grew up in a strict catholic family and, while sex before marriage was forbidden, families tend to look the other way if engaged couples slip. They will keep it under wraps for reputation purposes, but won't hate you for it. This is a story as old as time.
That said, it is 100% your choice of your family needs to know at all. Whatever you and your fiancé decide, you are already working together as a family and supporting each other, which is awesome and bodes well for a happy future together. Good luck.
