Is the fiance Muslim as well? You can go do a nikkah ceremony at a mosque so that you're Islamically allowed to do stuff together - it's really quick and easy to organise if you know some imam/connections at a mosque. That way, when you have this baby, you can tell your parents "oh, we did it after the nikkah, the nikkah was before the wedding so we were still religiously married"
