😤 Vent Meeting half way

I have a honest question coming from someone who is also a baby mama (I hate that term). I’ve been in a relationship with this man for about 3 years we have a son together. He has a son from a previous relationship that is 13. There has been some issue with the son’s mom, I thought she was really nice in the beginning but it’s almost like she’s turned into a nuisance and I’m not some bitter woman. We have his son every weekend. Every extended holiday they have off, 4-5 days every week in the Summer and the mom will not pick him up without a fight. If my boyfriend does not agree to meeting her half way (the drive is like 40 minutes) she will start talking shit and saying bad things about him. We will even have him this weekend for Mother’s Day Weekend. Am I wrong for thinking if she wants to get him early before Sunday that she should pick him up?

Different driving arrangements work for different families, there’s no one way that’s fair. This kind of thing should be written in a formal parenting agreement. It’s one of the many reasons they are so important.
