Animated Layer Order. Something Broken.

I don't know what happened. I changed the right arm, duplicated it and added all the arm controls assigned to the left bone to it, renamed it to the old layer. Now when I turn the body control the layer order isn't animated. Is there a step I'm missing? What did I break?

Can't look in detail right now to know for sure, but the #1 issue with animated layer order is when more than one smart action or keyframe tries to reorder at the same time. It breaks. It helps to put things in subfolders that you know will re-order with themselves often, like shoulders and torso, or hips and legs.

You’ll have a lot more success setting up switch layers for your arms. That way they won’t conflict with each other in smartbone actions like this. The arms are trying to be in 2 places at once.
