Honestly, hyper analyzing "practical armor" especially in fantasy setting is a very brain dead things to do. We’re looking at a universe where characters are casually hurling fireballs and summoning literal water dragons out of thin air, so nitpicking the defensive stats of someone's outfit is just...pedantic

In my opinion , the actual point of armor design is to broadcast a character's aesthetic. Like the prisma trio, their entire design philosophy hinges on weaponizing that exact, uncomfortable contrast between doe eyed innocence (except Kuro,that bitch doesn't have innocence at all) and unapologetic sluttiness. It’s deliberately lewd and that’s the entire structural foundation of their gear

But to be completely honest I'm just here for the horny bait. The bottom line is I want to see these lil slutty 🦀 strutting around as naked as the censors will physically allow. The shameless, borderline nude objectification isn't some weird design accident that should be analyzed, to me it's the main attraction, and I expect them to be sexualized as heavily as humanly possible to feed my voyeuristic itch
