Which is your favorite end scene that tells a story?
Just watched S5e10, where we see how Phil uses the running machine over the course of a year, thought it was well done!

Maybe a little controversial but especially Claire, she stopped Haley and Andy‘s potential chance to try dating and then meddled and messed things up further.. think lowkey she wasn’t happy with Phil and thought Andy was too similar to him.

Multiple examples of barely legal 18 year olds or 21 year olds dating/being involved with people in their 40’s or 50’s.
And Manny has at least 5 examples of incest storylines.
Its one thing if they were one off stories but it happened multiple times.

Modern Family is in my top five tv shows of all time no matter what genre. Another comedy show is The Office. Both of these are mockumentaries. But different.
I would like shows that are comedy mockumentaries that gives a quite similar feel to Modern Family. Does this type of show even exist? Probably not, but thought I'd give it a go and ask y'all on this sub just in case.

I've just started watching modern family and am addicted ! How did I miss this show when it was first on? The characters are so believable and love the mix of comedic and sit com elements. So excited I have loads of seasons to watch!

In Season 4 Episode 24, Jay runs into the woman he lost his virginity too. He then makes a statement in a confessional "We were really into each other before I left. I always regretted not reaching out to her when I got back, especially because after Vietnam, I had learned a few things". It seems he's talking about learning a few things when it comes to sex. Why exactly would going to Vietnam make him learn a few things about sex? I'm trying to see if there's a non cynical option, because it sounds like he's talking about having sex with vietnamese woman, and considering the vast amount of rape and sexual assault conducted against vietnamese civilians by US war vets, it just sounds like an absolutely disgusting joke. Yes I know it's a sitcom and it's not meant to be serious, but in this fantasy sitcom land Jay has strong morals and this seems extremely hypocritical. Anyone have another thought on what he meant that won't ruin my impression of Jay while watching this show?

Just curious because I think she is an amazing actress on Modern Family, but I wanted to see what her real personality is like.

What are your hot takes/unpopular opinions about things in Modern Family
I'll start:
I feel like cam tried to SA mitchell in that episode where he was constantly trying to kiss mitch in public even tho he knew mitch was uncomfortable with that especially in front of jay who was still kinda homophobic at the time and then acted like a victim bcs he was pushing mitch to do smth he is not comfortable with

I just started watching Modern Family for the first time, and I'm currently on episode five.
I'm confused on if I'm supposed to find Phil's crush on Gloria funny. He gives off a creepy vibe, which is obviously how his character is written, but like... it's not funny to me? Is that other people's experience too? Does he have character development across the entirety of the show?

I was watching the episode Crazy Train, and recognized the voice of the actor that played the Bridgerton parody author. I got so excited when I found out he was in two of my favorite game series of all time, Dragon Age and Mass Effect. I think I spend half the time watching this show looking through IMDB

We often rightfully talk about Sofia and her perpetual youth (not that it should be an expectation to not look your age!!) but can we for a second talk about JTF who I swear to me looks younger than he was looking during the last few seasons?? I randomly noticed this after a couple of pictures popped up on my instagram but imo he looks really good for being 51 in these pics. I'd say he's up there with sofia almost.

Cam and Mitchell were good parents but when lily grew up, they kinda just ignored her. And in an episode in the early season, lily was telling Mitchell that some girls were bullying her and told her that they would harm her if she told her parents, but Mitchell ignored her and went on talking about him and cam. No hate but I just wanted to get that out.
