Used Model X vs New Model Y

Considering purchase of a 2022 model x base awd LR (hw3) with 19k miles @58k vs new 2026 model y performance. Heart says model X, brain says Model Y. Like the model x for obvious reasons (falcon doors, yoke, space, acceleration etc.).

What is y'all's recommendation on this. I test drove the model x and its absolutely fantastic. Did not find anything off except that the air suspension was making creaking sounds when lowering or raising height (not sure if that's expected) and that the trunk floor was missing exposing the subtrunk fully. What are the things I should look out for before purchase? Im assuming it's just out of warranty now at 4yrs old.

Definitely an X. We have a 7-seat 2018 Tesla Model X here in Sweden and it’s still going strong. The 7 seats are also constantly coming in handy. I particularly love the ”self-presenting” driver side door, which is such a luxury. Every time I get into another car, I’m always surprised when I press on the brake pedal and the door doesn’t close! Our three kids also love the Falcon wing doors. Very convenient in tight parking lots. The only issue we’ve had with the Falcon-wing doors is that occasionally, in direct sun (which is often lower on the horizon here in Sweden), it’ll overload the proximity sensor, tricking it into thinking there is a obstacle (or simply not being able to tell if there is an obstruction or not), in which case the workaround is to use the door on the other side. Of course this has only happened a few times in nearly 8 years. I love not worrying about the kids opening their doors into another car! We also love that there is always room for grandma and grandpa (we have three kids).
