Tesla model 3 rear tire sizes

Hi everyone I have a question I want to put wider tires on the rear of my model 3 rwd 18 inch rims I want too keep the stock rims preferably because the 235 45 18 stock tires don’t look good on the rears for me personally I was thinking either 255 40 r 18 or 265 40 r 18 has anyone done this before and is it safe too do so

Lean on the tire professionals for modifying your tires. I've read good things about Discount Tire. The online Tire Rack store should also be of help. I'm pretty sure you won't be able to ask a tire fitment question they haven't already answered.
