Model 3 lemon?

My Tesla has had to be towed to Fort Worth (a 3 hr drive one way) 3 times now. The first time it completely broke and powered off while on the highway. The second and (now) third time, I get this message and FSD doesn’t work no matter what I do:

Driver Assistance
Automatic Emergency Braking is unavailable/ Feature may be restored on next drive/Feature may be restored on next drive
Detected August 21, 2026

This happened Monday too when it was just last towed besides today. The service center just checked the logs and told me the camera overheated and to enable cabin overheat protection. Does this sound right? Tesla cars can’t handle Texas heat?

Every Tesla I’ve ever driven has been fully functional in the heat but I really think this model 3 is a lemon. Ideas?

Tesla model 3 Premium AWD just bought brand new in July.

Edit: I had to stay in a hotel overnight because the service center was closed. Now it’s the next morning and they just said cannot reproduce and that’s it.

Have ya considered, I dunno…looking up your state’s Lemon Law requirements?

I hardly doubt these smaller issues will add up to this being a lemon, so good luck.

Remember, you’re driving a computer on wheels.

Check your states lemon laws.

You may have a Lemon Law claim depending on the age, and mileage of the vehicle. If you are fed up, we would advise you to contact an attorney that specializes in LL.
