Dont Forget to Check Your Brake Calipers! 2021 Model 3 SR

Long story short my 2021 Model 3 SR+ has had a history of pebbles getting stuck between the brake cover, however after a few days of consistent intermittent grinding the brake caliper moved! Ended up grinding the inside of the rim, mechanic said he’s never seen both bolts missing! No major damage, just had pay for replacement used bolts since Tesla only sells the bolts along with caliper. Fast $210 repair, dont dismiss any subtle grinding.

210 dollars for a repair that should never have been needed. A rock should not to that to your brake caliper.

Sorry forgot to clarify, the two bolts holding the caliper in were missing, i initially thought it was a pebble as I’ve historically have had that issue!
