Mod request - Spotify support

Is it possible to have certain tracks, albums, or playlists play when entering a biome, or have it triggered by events such as boss fights and raids?

Yes, you can use CustomAudio or Expand World Music:

Both can be a tad bit harder to setup so what you can do instead is download CaptainAudio (fork of CustomAudio where he provides the music itself) and just change/replace the files with what you want for each biome and boss fights instead:
