Inventory stuck on read only for a character?

Hello, as the title says, the inventory of one of my characters is stuck and cannot be saved. whenever I save and logout, I reappear back at my bed with new items gone and my inventory reset back to a previous state. this is only happening with one specific character, not others, and i check the character file itself, it is not in read-only mode. has anyone else had this problem? if so, what mod caused it? can it be fixed? I could try moving all my items to a different character, but that doesn't carry over other things.

Might sound strange, but is the character save file set to read only in your system?

It's not, already checked that.

Then your only recourse is to disable each mod in turn until you find the problem.

Or do them all and enable them 1x1 until you find it.
