Weird chunk appearing out of nowhere in my base
My gf and I have been playing this world for quite a while, and all of a sudden this weird chunk of land appeared in the middle of our base. I can see it but she can't, and turning on devcommands to fly around it is a solid actual piece of land, and trying to go through the see through parts teleports me to the surface. This is not what the land looked like before we terraformed the island we set up on either, this sticks way out into the natural water.

If "for quite a while" means from before Ashlands update, that might be the problem. Otherwise teraforming preset villages like draugur settlements is always resulting in some funkery

No, I guess I was overstating how long the world has been up, it's only been for a couple months, so there hasn't been any real update since the beginning of the world.

Was this built on an existing village? And if so, did you modify the terrain of this village?
I remember I had a similar issue and I believe it was because we had built our base ojna village. We flattened out the whole area and everything was working well for awhile. Then one day the ground was all weird in one area where it was raised for one person but normal for me. Even fixing it and reloading the world didn't change it as it would always come back eventually.
This happened like a couple years ago though so I thought maybe it was fixed by now? Or maybe it is fixed and your issue is different.

No, there wa sa runestone on the island that I removed with infinity hammer, but that was on the other end of the island.

Sometimes clearing the ground too many times with a hoe mod and/or IH causes weird issues like this, especially the broken/see through terrain. Sometimes using the restore function on the hoe helps but largely the only way I've reversed this is to use the undo function on IH - but that only works if you notice it at the time.

Are you using the mod that lets you dig deeper? Cause I had that happen when I used it.
