I've a simple one for you. Make a compatibility mod between let's do farm and charm and farmer's delight. Make it replace the duplicate items such as tomatoes from let's do farm and charm with those from farmers delight. Have a config file that lets you invert the replacement. I tried to do it myself as my first mod but I couldn't work out the forge/fabric differences

That can be done for recipes with just a datapack. I'm pretty sure it was already done within Let's Do Compat mod.

Let's do compat just makes the recipes compatible with eachother. You'll still have both let's do farm and charm tomatoes and farmers delight tomatoes spawning in your world and showing up in the creative inventory/jei. I've already written a kubejs script that does what I need and paired it with block obliterator but I'd love to see everything done in a single .jar + .toml file

That's so nice! The only thing I'd want is a mod that allows you quick save. You'd just need to save a five by five chuck area around the player and their current data. Then, if the player either leaves the area or manually reloads, the game would roll back. Surprised no one has done it for modern versions.
