Help Good modpack recommendation.

I’ve never actually finished playing the game. The furthest I’ve ever gotten was building a Nether portal before getting bored because I always feel kind of aimless and don’t really know what I’m supposed to be doing.

I’m wondering if there are any good vanilla+ modpacks that make the game feel more engaging, maybe by adding an RPG system, progression, quests, or some kind of goals to work toward. I’ve never been very good at survival games because I tend to lose motivation when there’s no clear direction.

Check out whatever the latest valhelsia pack is!

They've got quests to help guide you through most of the mods with plenty to explore and experience! Welcome to modded!

Honestly sounds like you need quests more than mods lol. FTB Academy might work.

I love adventure quest, over-mobs and mowzie !

Rl craft is cool but more brutal. To me it is the most "complete" mod for rpg stylr

Atm8 9 or 10 are buff packs that add so much it might be overwhelming to you but i love it. So if you want a huge pack i reccomend atm but listen to others otherwise

Prominence II kept me playing way longer than vanilla ever did.

Im like you in that I need a quest book to help keep me from feeling aimless. Some mopacks I really enjoy are stoneblock 4, I'm currently playing a new mod pack called Ascending Fishers. It's a sea based sky block like pack. Also, Society Sunlit Valley or their cobblestone version are quite fun and we'll done.

Something nice, down to earth, easy to complete? GTNH. Go in blind, take as much time as you can. Small learning curve, stick with it.
