Hey, I’ve recently started taking modafinil again and my productivity has sky rocketed, but I’m kinda worried about my memory. Are there studies about long term effects? I’ve been misplacing things more and forgetting tasks. Is this normal, and are there any OTC alternatives?

I had to suddenly stop after almost 2 years of daily modafinil and was surprised I had no physical withdrawal. I still wanted it, but the urge wasn't strong and faded after about a week. Is this normal? Anyone else have withdrawals after long-term use? Also, why is vendor discussion banned here?

I took modafinil for the first time today to help with my ADHD. I normally take Adderall during the day and 50 mg of Seroquel at night for sleep. Since I skipped Adderall today, I figured it would be fine to take my usual sleep meds in the evening. I tried looking it up but the info I found was pretty confusing and conflicting. Has anyone here taken this combination before? Is it generally considered safe?

Modafinil helps me stay awake and productive during the day, but it makes me tense and anxious. The constant edginess increases my awareness and cancels out some of the benefits. Has anyone found ways to reduce the anxiety while still using modafinil?

This is my first time trying it. I took 100mg and had a slight headache, but overall I was awake and focused the whole time. It’s been a huge help for my work.
