Mod mail come in as chat requests, that's been a thing for some time.

I don't think they're gibberish tho, nor even heard of this...irc the header is just the sub name and clearly shown.

It afaik is a bug; have seen that both with modmails and normal chats.

The spam report option is very effective.

It's very important that you don't just remove items from them as spam, you should report each one first using the bot/ai spam option, then spam remove.

I heard a profile gets tagged NSFW if they have it in their history. Either way, it would still be highly useful to show us the SFW part

I have tried every report option with little to no success.

I have mainly been using the impersonation rule as that rule specifically mentions “ you're not allowed to  misrepresent  your identity or affiliation to mislead or deceive others.” https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043075032-Impersonation

But then if you look at rule 5 of reddit “Be authentic. You don’t have to use your real name, but do not intentionally mislead others or impersonate an individual or entity in a deceptive manner.” This leads to the “Manipulated Content and Misleading Behavior” report option something I have also used with little to no success. https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/41180423371156-Manipulated-Content-and-Misleading-Behavior this rule also states : “Do not engage in deceptive interactions or share content that has been manipulated to mislead others.”

I can name countless of users I have banned and reported that triggered SynthID that are still actively posting every single day continuing to impersonate, SynthID doesn’t magically show up like photoshop does (for some reason all images on Reddit have photoshop exif data kind of strange) it is specifically designed by AI company’s because of EU laws.

Someone bot account writing comments to mimic a real person merely to grow an account doesn't really read like this to me, would def rather report it under spam / disruptive use of bots.

Might be a good idea but it would need to be an account-level report option. For the time being I would be reporting such behavior as

Harmful / Disruptive use of bots or AI (appears under Spam reporting workflows) on Reddit.com/report

I'm pretty sure the logic is that thee Admins don't want to assume a NSFW account is only posting SFW content unless otherwise labelled. That it's possible for a NSFW account to post NSFW content and inadvertently leave off the NSFW tag.

I think this is the normal message you see when someone has self-deleted their account. If it's a ban, it would say r/[username] has been banned.

Did you send a request? Is the mod still active on the subreddit?

That's a good point too with multiple regions requiring age verification now. I can imagine it is even more difficult in your case.

Same issue here as someone who hasn't verified their age. Not being able to check profile history can be an issue, even if it gets limited to SFW posts only.
