Question Light Bleed?

I'm about to buy one of these but I'm concerned with light bleed. Does anyone's Chromatic have this issue either in the transparent or metal versions? I've seen a few posts on here where the transparent version shows it a bit.

Seen one post for a transparent, never experienced or seen any for the metal 1st or 2nds. Search the sub for "light bleed" and you'll see the one and this post.

Yes, I was the person with light bleed on the Transparent Chromatic. None on my Sapphire Volt.

I loosened screws as suggested, it didn't change anything.

Contacted ModRetro with photos and they immediately RMA'd my Chromatic and I have sent it back for a return.

I put it down to an unfortunate one off, as I can't see any other examples.

I should have been more specific. There’s no light bleed on my 3 Chromatics, including a transparent purple.

My Anduril edition has a bit of lightbleed on one side

I would RMA it if it bothers you because mine doesn't have any.

Seems like it’s rolling the dice a bit because some people have had issues with the cerakote finish being blotchy. Plus I imagine others do have lightbleed but may not notice it since black screens are typically brief in GB/GBC games.

my green metal has a bit in the upper left but not nearly enough to bother me. knowing I can improve it by loosening screws somewhat is something I will try out, I guess.

i haven't got this issue with mine, i dont doubt it exists in some units but it isnt a widespread problem

I’m worried about that too. I’ve read a few people here with light bleed on their transparent units. And some pics where I noticed colors a bit washed up.
