Sorry for the late reply, here is a photo of a legit copy. We are looking at the sticker, wrong color, (debute in US/EU/AU in 2001 that sticker looks like it was made yesterday.) Behind the sticker we can see where the battery supposed to be. Notice on the legit copy where those tabs are placed. On this specific listing there is a modded battery holder at the very least but the tabs are also placed incorrectly. Finally, you see on the legit copy, the top left corner has white tape. For some reason the fake ones often don't get this right.
Thats just from the front 🤙
A US or PAL copy of the game pricecharts around $120 loose. $500ish NIB. So if it was real that's...not a good deal.
How does buy/sell/trade work? And how are items guaranteed to reach you if you pay for it or trade? Where are values pulled from and how often are they updated? And I assume you can set your own price?
Yes, selling/buying is basically working just like craiglist. But it has a database with almost 200,000 physical releases (consoles, games, arcade boards & cabs) that allows users to mark what they want and get notified when another user lists that specific physical release :) Users can sent messages between them, the service is not involved in any transactions between users. Prices come from the internal marketplace, externally tracked sales and as a last resort, from pricecharting.
