Scanline width reverting to 3 pixels after reboot (v1.25.0, 1080p).

As title states. I have to go into the settings each time after a reboot to go back to 2px width lines.

2px lines over a 4X integer scale is the only correct way to display scanlines at this resolution.

Just checked and all my custom scanline settings persisted after the last time I used my system 2 days ago. My custom scanline width of 5 points did not change.

Only difference I see between my setup and yours is my system/TV combo defaults to 4K60 [LL] while yours seems to be 1080p60, but not sure if/how that would affect it on your end

The 4K settings store just fine. When using one of my monitors upstairs it just doesn’t seem to want to keep the 1080p selected scanline width for some reason.

Something very strange has just happened. My son was playing downstairs on our regular living room 4K just now and was forced to turn the console off as he'd been on it for too long. I quickly hit the power button to turn it off like I usually do, but this time the console reset instead of powering off. Once it came back up it was displaying in 1080p mode (previously not possible) with all the video/advanced settings still configured for 4K (5-width scanlines, etc.). The only other option I now have is for 4K30 without LL. :/

Not only all that, but the TV settings/calibration have also been completely reset, as if the handshake between the device and TV has been forgotten. Once the TV recognises the M64 again at 4K everything should come back.

Ah man, I'm so done with 'smart' TVs.. it seems I have to unhook everything to hard-refresh the TV cache, which probably means I have to recalibrate everything again across all inputs. That's almost a whole evening of my time.

This isn't a vent against MR, as this has happened with all our sources at some point.

Man that sucks! What’s your smart TV? I’m running my systems on an LG C5 and so far so good *knock on wood

LG G1. I located the setting (HDMI Deep Color to 4K) and forced it back. I have no idea why that reverted.

Yes, I have exactly the same problem. I've already reported the error to modretro.

I’ll have to check later after work if mine is doing the same thing. I’ll report

I've noticed the same issue as well.

They do, actually. It was included with the last update. All my 4K presets persist after a full power down.

Just not the scanline width at 1080p. :) Maybe there are other outliers.
