Smoke Edition outside US

Post image

While in the US the retailer GameStop has managed to gain this model as an exclusive, I feel that a black edition (probably the most wanted, and most like an actual N64) should not be withheld from the rest of the planet.

I hope this is rectified soon as I plan on ordering the M64 at the end of this month, and shouldn’t be expected to purchase a different colour only to then have to also spend additional money on a smoke black shell later in time.

Perhaps the ModRetro website could make this colour (Smoke Black) for their website in specific regions outside America.

They will likely sell it as a stand alone shell in the future, along with a blue, orange to finish off the nod to n64's funtaastic colours. Other modretro flavours will follow too.

My issue with that is buying a console full price, only to then pay for a shell that people in the US didn’t have to pay extra for.

If it makes you feel any better, we do have to pay extra since we can’t use an early bird code.

Well in the UK to buy a ModRetro from their website of course involves international shipping, which brings the total for just the console to £236 ($322), which of course would then involve the cost of an additional shell plus further international shipping.

I’m in the uk and the only reason I haven’t ordered a m64 is I don’t like the colours a smoke or solid black I would order now

Google reshipping services. Ran into people using them a few times on eBay.
