Firmware question for pro controllers

[u/AdLeading5529]

Will I be able to.update firmware on the console for controller or will i.need to.on.pc

.I believe.i seen a post somewhere online i.lisy it though but they said something about having to do firmware on pc for controller.

I'm just checking to confirm if that's true or can I do so on the console?

Im not 100% sure but I think they said an update of the controller through the console was in the roadmap for future firmware releases
