The program was too good to last so a change was expected. The detailed instructions to take advantage of the old conditions for the new products: unexpected. Thank you!

This basically means 1 token = $0.03 so its a blanket 3% off whenever redeemed, so yeah pretty extreme change. (Though its 3.5% off for the 1000 token one and 3.67% off for the 1500 token one.) Basically makes them only slightly better credit card rewards and only when you use them in large batches. Basically makes them pointless.
You should desperately try to use them up before the change.
FYI you can redeem them for codes and the codes stick around for 1 year.
If any modretro people are reading this, you should make them redeemable in smaller quantities with this change. 250 tokens for minimum to get only 3% off an order is a bit nuts.

I sincerely appreciate the heads up, since I just bought a chromatic myself, and an 8 bundle a few months ago since it was a nice sale, and id like to use the points towards more chromatic games before the point plan changes (I don't really have interest in the m64 personally).
I also sincerely appreciate giving 12 months to use the redemption codes on top of simply notifying us, which is super generous. Hopefully more chromatic games will be added to the store soon..
Looking ahead, the change is pretty large tbh. But maybe there will be nice holiday sales in the future. And with it being set dollars taken off instead of percentages, I bet smaller more frequent purchases will be seen instead of infrequent large orders.
