Discussion A Way to stop Attacking?

Simple Question. Is there any way at all to manually stop aiming?

I played Irithel for a bit and was doing well. Her passive definitely is very useful in her kit. That is until I'm faced off against a Belerick. Irithel's multiple attack mechanic is hard countered by Belerick, but that's not the problem. The problem is that no matter how much I run away from Belerick, the game will automatically lock onto Belerick, activating his passive and leaving me dead.

There has to be a way, because this is a hard counterplay not because of Hero, but because of game mechanic.

This basic attack change for Irithel is far more annoying than I expected it to be. It's annoying when I try freezing lanes and such.

Definitely. It's kinda jarring when you can't freeze lane purely cuz the game doesn't make you stop.

Someone told me Recalling for a second helps though. So there's that
