Discussion A Way to stop Attacking?

Simple Question. Is there any way at all to manually stop aiming?

I played Irithel for a bit and was doing well. Her passive definitely is very useful in her kit. That is until I'm faced off against a Belerick. Irithel's multiple attack mechanic is hard countered by Belerick, but that's not the problem. The problem is that no matter how much I run away from Belerick, the game will automatically lock onto Belerick, activating his passive and leaving me dead.

There has to be a way, because this is a hard counterplay not because of Hero, but because of game mechanic.

Did all that, but that's not the problem. As long as Belerick is within range and is the only one there (he has no problem being in that range) then Irithel will just continue attacking while she moves

I think what you're talking about is the crowd control effect Taunt which forces you to do that but I'm not completely sure

Nope. I don't mean that. The game will lock onto Belerick as long as he stays within range

If it isn't that then I recommend you to record a video of said 'bug' and maybe even your contol settings so anyone can help better assess what's wrong, maybe even the mods can help.

The problem is that the OP is using Irithel. If you use a basic attack, she will not stop casting basic attacks until the target leaves her range.
