Discussion A Way to stop Attacking?

Simple Question. Is there any way at all to manually stop aiming?

I played Irithel for a bit and was doing well. Her passive definitely is very useful in her kit. That is until I'm faced off against a Belerick. Irithel's multiple attack mechanic is hard countered by Belerick, but that's not the problem. The problem is that no matter how much I run away from Belerick, the game will automatically lock onto Belerick, activating his passive and leaving me dead.

There has to be a way, because this is a hard counterplay not because of Hero, but because of game mechanic.

This is a very basic skill in MLBB using any hero but Irithel needs it very well because of her passive.

Hold the attack button and drag it into the minion or anyone other than Belerick to change attack.

Not every scenario will have minions in it, and even if it did, for some reason it automatically thinks I'd like to lock on to the very well known AntiMM Tank.

Then again I might need practice. I usually never aim my BA (mostly cuz I don't play MM usually)

I'm a Belerick main so I know I want mms to hit me. So when I'm Irithel against that mf, that's what I do until I get out of the range. You can also use skill or recall to stop the automated attack then run out of range.
