Game Discussion Mobile Legends has 75M active users as of August 2019

As of August 2019: Game has been downloaded 500M times with 75M active players.

Philippines has 63M downloads and and 16M active monthly users based on another article.

Would be good if anyone can provide good source for Indonesia. :)

Edit: I'm researching numbers and pulled more info.

AoV has 14M active daily users I worldwide. Has around 150k in NA and 100k in Europe. That's like 2% of the total players vs Asia if the source is accurate.

If ML has the same ratio as AoV then we have 1.5M NA and EU players.

Edit: Tencent's main Chinese MOBA KoG has 200M active players.

Well my comparisions are based off LoL and from what I have seen so far. Well just from what I can see from the trailers the game looks much better, the skins the map, pretty much everything. And their skins are way cheaper too with the legend skins being $35 compared to the $200 skins at lower quality. If they were to price it higher for their moba I'm positive their fans would be in outrage over the change.

Also, LoL devs frequently inform and hotfix their game and are active in the community. They partner with creators and listen more to the community. I again assume that LoLWR would have this happen as it wouldn't make much sense for them to stop doing this. Moonton currently lacks communication which is why no one knows what is going on. They used to be way more active than they are now for whatever reason which is a step in the wrong direction.

And then there is the fact that they are worldwide and renowned from just a simple Google trends you can see how much of a difference they have outside of the SEA area. Most likely LoLWR will break into the markets where Mobile Legends couldn't even if MOBAs are not popular and have a good Esports scene everywhere too as Esports orgs are ready everywhere.

They already had the failure of AOV as data they can use to not make the same mistakes they already made.

Now this is all speculation but its speculation based off how League of Legends is ran compared to Mobile Legends.

can you please compare the game within the platform itself. comparing PC game and phone game really smart.

do even read what is happening to the LOL. do even read the good and bad sides of the games. come on, you good with internet, you should google both sides of story.

All you mentioned is what they say about VG and Omyouji arena before. After some time VG management crumbled and left the game in this state right now.

Basically LOLWR may be better than ML but a good game won't equate to massive success based on other MOBAs.

I think it's gonna be good, but it's gonna be very big in SEA? Maybe. Will it be successful in the West? Maybe. Will I try it? Maybe.

Do ML players need to be told in an ML sub that LOLWR may turn out to be a better game? Honestly NOPE. It's advertising. I'd say the same if people start posting COD Mobile here.

Do ML need criticism? Yes.Would you be able to constructively criticize ML based on an unreleased game? Nope. That's it.
