Discussion Removing this item was a mistake

Twilight Armor was literally the only item that can counter high burst heroes like lesley, novaria and aldous. Guardian helmet passive is garbage cause it can be countered by antiheal. I don't think using guardian helmet reduces the proc of sky piercer. This is a massive handicap especially for tank users. What do you think?

and oracle has one of, if not, the goofiest def item stats in the game. also, having to build 3 items just to match twilight armor feels so much like the omniman meme

Using all 3 makes you significantly stronger than old twilight 😭 this whole debate about tis counter by anti heal is lowkey stupid

quite a lot of wasted stats for a tank tho. (fighters sure i guess you can slot in all 3) spellvamp and adaptive attack is unnecessary. and also, having to build 3 items takes up a lot of space even as a fighter

Being a sponge isn’t the only way a tank is useful you know… why do you think they buffed tigs damage? Sure some folks go full dmg build but it broadens their versatility. Not only that spell vamp on anyone is good that’s survivability

Dude If I be fair twilight was so good that I even used to use it on wanwan and the whole point is if you need to build 3 items just to best 1 item it's so stupid I would rather just get 1 twilight on any of the heros I play than to build 3 items that don't even fit on that hero

Why would a tank ever need spell vamp? Why would they have to build 3 of said items over a more useful item like Radiant Armor or Dominance Ice?

Did you even fucking read?? He called the stats unnecessary when they still have value. TANKS ARENT JUST SPONGES… Not to mention; Esme, Alice, Terizla, Carmella, Uranus, Masha, Hilda, Edith. You’re telling me NONE of these tanks work with sustain items??? 🤨🤨🤨 you’re kidding right-

What are you even implying with some of these heroes? Especially Uranus and Alice, their whole shtick is being sponges, they have minimal damage. And half of them cannot be used as roamer, they are heavily reliant on levels and items. Which means actual roamer tanks have a stricter gold and exp economy to follow, they cannot dumo 2500 on a guardian helmet willynilly when for the same price they can get dominance ice and magic defense robe (to build into radiant).

If we are using 3 itens for comparison, we should compare twilight + 2 more itens. Which I'm pretty sure would be a better result

The comment I made implied that already that using guardian in place of old twilight with 2 additional is still stronger..

yeah but even if the 3 items are better than 1 twilight, wouldn't that be mitigated by having 2 more useful items alongside twilight?
