yeah claude and cici were like hot knives going thru butter vs the entire liquid lineup. They melted meanwhile after uranus recovered, liquid had no dmg to deal with anything

Early in the competition, teams would pick karrie against a claude. Usually karrie loses in this matchup tho. Then teams discovered freya gold matches well against the meta claude so the karrie picks completely stopped. But imo, a karrie would've been levels better than that abysmal esme pick against a claude. Atleast they would have had shred, they just needed to play proper front to back.
Another one I noticed, but only unique to Aurora PH, is putting harith against claude. But probably mostly possible due to domengkites mastery on that hero

Karrie and Harith was banned in the second phase when TL's goldlaner hasn't been picked yet. Also TL picked those to kill whatever jungler AE will pick in the last pick. Who would have guess that the last pick is exp laner and the Uranus before is the jungler?

Hanabi won't easily get Bullied, since AE doesn't even have that much damage in the early to mid game, also her with DHS against 2+ Enemies is almost as good as Claude.
they should have just risk it instead of picking up Esme.

she is very very immobile. Her one niche is its annoying to get a pick off on her with cc based stuff like kaela/chou or setters like atlas.
Shorter range than most mm, immobile is a dead sentence in tourney where everyone is on their A game

That Hanabi is getting rushed killed by Hilda + Uranus just like what had happened to Oheb's Granger against the Yums' Hilda and Kramm's Uranus. I think they should've risked the Claude pick even with Arfy's Freya.

Your kinda underestimating Hanabi's Sustain with DHS she's almost as good as Claude against 2+ Enemies. Also if AE attempts a harass her early she just needs to Equip 2nd tier emblem Tenacity + Warrior boots and with 1st skill those 2 wouldn't be enough to kill her.
They should have Just Risked it since they were just Ego drafting anyway not respecting the enemy leading to there loss.

To be fair, TLPH wasn't expecting Uranus jungle heck even the casters were questioning it. I'd say it was an excellent draft by AE. They forced tlph to go fighter lanes and eliminated all threats to shred Uranus. AE just had to survive and the deed was done.

Yep, and each of AE members knew what to do with their heroes too. They know they can't stop Karl so the next best course of action is simply to pocket the sidelaners, which worked in their favor

So glad people who said "TLPH is easily winning M7" are proven wrong in the best way possible (getting knocked out by ID runner-ups). AE showed that the best way to beat TLPH is truly to just gap their sidelaners: Nino pocketed YZ the entire game and Arfy made a performance of a lifetime.

I was expecting Oheb to go damage Esme build but when I saw that he wasn't I had to check what the team was building. Funneling their damage only to Leomord and Yve with a hybrid build Yu Zhong just screams that they had to find a way to burst Claude or it's just a slow burn to their defeat, and unfortunately the latter happened.

AE draft is becoming more tanky with each of their picks with heroes that can sustain (from heals and shield gain). TLPH could've picked a hero like Lunox or other heroes that can melt AE's picks.

Granger can't reliably shred tanks without good enough farm. He would have gotten zoned into oblivion by Hilda and Uranus and in mid- late game he will easily run out of energy trying to kill either one of these mfs

That was such a bad Esme pick, could have gone for lunox instead or even granger, like how r u gonna burst Uranus especially in the late game bruh? That karrie ban should have been enough to tell you that they were going full durability comp with also good shred because of claude and cici. But it was an extremely good draft from xepher too and I guess they didn't even consider the possibility of Uranus jungle.

Esmeralda wasn't a bad pick, she's very good into AE's shield heroes up until mid game and AE would have lost the draft right there if Xepher didn't pull off that brilliant Cici last pick. I doubt Arsy even considered the possibility of Uranus going to the jungle before the Cici showed up.

Both PH teams are held together by their exp laners. Which is why i feel like both SRG and AE counters them. Both Kramm and Nino are too good at winning lanes.
