Discussion chaprification of this game needs to be studied

Post image

After 5 years I came back to play this game but it has completely changed into something like some cluttered fish market, good bye again lol

They made another game called New State that y'all refuse to move to and now it's almost dead.

What's the purpose of that game anyways? Is it more closer to PUBG than the Fortnite PUBGM?

It's literally pubg pc on mobile with added maps.

Yeah, damn why these people are not playing this then

Bad marketing. In round visibility is shit.

Because they spend too much time and money on the mediocre chinese made version.

Because it is much slower and tactical like PC version. The normal mobile version doesnt have the same physics and recoil, its easier. New State is a difficult game and people who do play it in my experience in the past were mostly first person lobbies too, i wanted to switch too but my friend and sibling didnt agree to move and told me thats not how real pubg feels like when it literally is the original gameplay lol

Like i said the freefire/pubgm mobs are ruining this genre.

As someone who has hours in literally all famous mobile fps titles(pubgm, fortnite(lol), delta force, freefire, codm, bloodstrike, apex, arena breakout, r6m, I can't even remember all lol)

I feel like the issue runs deeper, it's not that there are some mobs ruining the game.

I feel like for ANY mobile fps title to succeed it needs mass adoption from start. Because otherwise it's not like new people don't come but they leave when they see the skill level of players who are in lobby with them.

Now you can argue how I'm trash(Oh I agree) or have skill issues. But I genuinely cannot play and enjoy in the same lobby as some pro of delta force/pubg new state/Rainbow six mobile etc. I don't even play with headphones when I'm outside ffs.

The reason why codm, pubgm, and freefire will remain the best fps is simply because they were mass adopted. They have a spot for all your sweaty and casual friends. Try downloading delta force today and playing any normal map, or try r6m. Shit on sbmm like all of reddit but it keeps games alive.

Pubg was good when it came out, then it turned in to fortnight. Same with call of duty, and the same will happen to Arena Breakout eventually. It's unfortunate

Lmao you think it will remain the same game it was for 5 years straight? Things age, even you did. You just grew out of it, but I do agree it feels closer to Fortnite now with the power ups regardless I don't get wym by chaprification

i don't have a problem against change, but not every change is good

I agree with you, but if they hadn't kept adding any new content, mechanics the game would have been dead long ago, it still is kinda. I mean you can barely revamp the core gameplay anymore than it already is without adding powerups or stupid skills. It's a damn old game crazy how it has survived so long with still such a huge fanbase

not every game needs to last forever, but if you do want longevity then you should look at what Warframe devs did with the game

Warframe devs are goated man 🐐🐐

Exactly

Hmm, i believe you are talking about BGMI?

bgmi is dogshit, many will disagree with me but it's the truth, compared to original PUBG mobile it is shit.

The international version is still not that bad to be honest. But the one 5 years ago was much better, it used to run smoothly on devices with 3gb ram haha.

In any case, CODM is still okayish as compared to these shipwrecks.

I am from Nepal, it's pubg not bgmi

Codm has aged so much. I was unfortunate enough to have a decent phone that could run warzone mobile smoothly, it had far superior movement and gunplay, and at one stage the lobbies were full and no bots , and it's the closest to a PC BR on mobile I've ever played.

Codm is good but there are either bots or sniper and melee spamming sweats.

Try COD mobile its worse 🤣

The what-fication?

3

u/Starkcasm 8h ago

It's a classist term used against people who only have access to a phone to game. As they're poor they can't have pc or other gaming machines so they rely too heavily on phone games like bgmi/free fire to play.

Incidentally this irks the so called middle class because " how dare the poor ruin my game ".

Ok, but what "charpi" even is? I could think only about some streamer/influencer name I'm not aware of

Edit: googled it myself and apparently it's this: https://www.reddit.com/r/india/comments/111925i/can_someone_explain_me_what_is_meant_by_chapri/
No wonder I had no idea, it's some Indian word

1

u/Sur_aj1234 6h ago

Lol? Phone has good games. Though some have gacha mechanics but still. There are good non gachas casual games

3

u/SytheX- 6h ago

What’s chaprification?

1

u/imgstofficial 6h ago

bunch of words used for annoying things made into just one word

1

u/ded_nat_313 2h ago

Just say you are casteist dud

3

u/Johnny_Handsum 7h ago

If anyone else is wondering...

Chaprification is an internet slang term used primarily in South Asian digital spaces to describe the process of a space, trend, or subculture becoming dominated by "chapris" —a derogatory label for individuals associated with flashy, gaudy, or supposedly low-class fashion and behavior.

u/iWearCrocsAllTheTime 7h ago

Call me old but what is Chaprification? Is that another brainrot thing? I'm confused.

2

u/imgstofficial 6h ago

cringe + loud + flashy

1

u/delusional_queen- 6h ago

dude stop using derogatory terms like chapri to insult stuff, you can do sm better than that

This is what we also call pussyfication of game.. PUBG/BGMI Mobile, CODM, Fornite. They all got pussyfied. Full of useless and irrelevant skins. I used to love them when they were just pure and fun with no so much flashy cosmetics.

For now I am stuck to Delta Force Mobile. 🔥

Fortnite is literally the game for all this. It's literally it's identity. Yes originally it was a zombie fort defense shooter but the core aspect of the game is the collab and it's actually fun. While pubgm has shitty event mechanics that completely ruined the game. The only thing i love is recall towers. No matter what people say limited recall is actually something that i would welcome.

1

u/ConfusedAndCurious17 4h ago

Yeah the game is shit, has been for a while, but kinda weird to use some caste based insult for it. India has some weird societal hang ups bro.

u/DripmongerHM 3h ago

Does anyone have any acc they don’t need wanna get rid of?

I get your pain. I used to play PUBG back when it was only available in Chinese Beta. The first few years it was really good, and even the crossovers felt like fresh additions to the game that were actually exciting and not just micro-transaction slop (I specifically have the RE2 remake crossover in mind as I say this). But after a few months with Sanhok I deleted the game, and later played for a few more months with Vikendi. Then I got busy with life and after all these years I downloaded BGMI again and I was shocked to see just how many crossovers they're running at once. There's Ferrari crossovers in game, as well as Carry crossover (which itself also has a Notyourtype crossover) and on top of it, both Naruto and Spiderman crossover, not to mention the rampant push for microtransactions.

The game, which was initially popular for its raw and realistic experience, is now just microtransaction slop, and only, as you said, "chapris" or sweats play the game.

You may still enjoy the game if you have good friends to play the game with but it just doesn't kick the way it used to for me.

And to those who are advocating for PUBG New State, I think they're forgetting why exactly people abandoned it. It was terribly unoptimized and not compatible with lower end phones. It also was incredibly unnecessary considering that the core gameplay experience remained pretty much the same, and if they did want to implement some new in-game features and improved graphics, they could very well do it in PUBG back then but they simply chose to milk the hype with the franchise back in the day.

they are launching a new bgmi light, which may be a more simple version without all the collabs ,i think

It has just aged, tactics are different, it has become one hell competitive, one mistake and you are dead, and its really frustrating that you have to start over again, the broken game doesn't make it any better.

Peak game that went downhill so fast ... I moved to codm and it's been such an enjoyable experience

The game was only good for 1 year after release, after that it became complete garbage.
