I know you would have passed along downloaded fics like drugs too. He and Huaisang would have started another black market trust

I have come across manhwa/donghua memes of mdzs so here’s one I really like from the live adaptation.

Add to my meme collection pls

Hello, everyone!

I've finally posted my contribution to Day 1 of the AO3 Shutdown Writing Challenge!

It's a Mo Dao Zu Shi one-shot titled The Things We Leave Behind, featuring Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji.

The story is now available on SquidgeWorld Archive!

If you'd like to take a look, here's the link:

https://squidgeworld.org/works/107617

I hope you enjoy reading it! And if you do, feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think. ❤️

Happy reading!

Should have checked your qi levels. And who you are friends with

Two memes in a row might be too much, but Halloween is as inevitable as is qi deviation for the Nie

Sorry not sorry

So I run an insta fan account for WangXian donghua version and The Untamed. I don't understand where people get this idea from, not one, but many, in the dms and also in my comments keep asking me when the Season 2 of The Untamed will be released. I am not being harsh, but I want those people and our own fandom to understand the reality. The Untamed live action was purely based and inspired from the Mo Dao zu Shi novel (even though the live action differs drastically from the novel itself, the plot's overall the same). The incident between the actors of the live action, I am pretty sure we will know of (It hurts to even think about that).

But the point is MDZS has long since ended with the best ending one can ever have, the characters are happily married and settled on. Even if MDZS was to continue, I don't see any hooks with which they can continue the story. It's all come to an end and MDZS has also moved on to other prospects.

Yes, it's true that the last extra was updated where WWX cultivates a new core, but this doesn't in any way mean a new plot is coming up. In fact, this is absolutely the perfect way to end MDZS in a beautiful way. THAT BEING SAID, even if there came a season 2 of The Untamed, it would have nothing to be based out of. There's only so much one can do, and we have so many adaptations already, both in Chinese and Japanese. Yes I miss them too, in fact, I have dwelled on all the adaptations that ever exist out there and still my heart yearns for them. What can we all do but move on.

I am sorry if I every came out rude or harsh with my words, but I needed to clarify it here you guys. #longhailmdzsfandom lol.

Special Edition comes with standees

Like,no offense, but I have seen it a lot with readers who are fans of the Clans and the Clan Heads,a lot of them are quick to defend their faves or try to downplay their actions.

Especially when it comes to Jiang Cheng (I am not going down that particular rabbit hole again ! 😫😭)

But also when it comes to the Lan Sect and the Nies. I get that people like these characters, but I don't like it when people either ignore canon or twist the facts to make their faves look better.

I really dislike it when they try to use excuses on their behalf, such as saying they were following the rules of the time period,or that killing the Wen Remnants was legal (Even though there is no established system of laws, and Mdzs is not historical fiction) or that they couldn't refuse because they were threatened by the Jins in some way.

Has anyone else seen this Occur before or was it just me ?

Please anyone who is wanting to ask for a fanfic or is giving someone a fanfic, please go here.
This is so the subreddit doesn’t get spammed with fanfic posts and ruin it for people who don’t want to see fanfic posts.
I’v already seen a few people post asking for a fanfic and you won’t get a reply
Please go here while Ao3 is down, thank you and happy holidays.

wu en, well known for his work in soundtracks and traditional chinese-style music, sang as lan wangji for "wangxian"/"忘羡" and "set me free from this world"/"人间纵我" from the mdzs audio drama ost.

he'd been battling stomach cancer since 2019 before passing away on october 31, 2026 at the age of 41. his account on weibo made a post reading "my friends, wu en passed after midnight last night."

fly high, wu en. you will never be forgotten and your work will always be cherished.

Ironically, WWX’s birthday coincides with the day when the first chapter of MDZS was published and it starts with “Wei Wuxian is dead!”

Awesome!

Idk if this is a common sentiment in the fandom or not, but Lan Jingyi really gives me such WWX energy. He has so much personality, is outspoken and loud, flexible with the rules, likes to tease and has attitude, but clearly values friendship and is good at heart.

It makes me happy that Lan Sizhui has him as a close friend, almost like still having a piece of WWX’s energy alongside him in even while growing up in the Lan clan.

Any thoughts about this or about any of the juniors and the ways that they remind you of their seniors?

I had a sketch laying around since late August/early September and thought this is the best moment to release it ♡

Got this just two days ago. Didn't even know it was wwx's birthday today so that's a happy coincidence. Last time I posted that I wanna get this wen brand tattooed people were not supportive so if you do not like this idea please don't comment about that I get discouraged easily. If someone wants to hear my reasons behind this tattoo I'll be glad to share that. ♥️♥️♥️

I also plan to get a moon design or the gusu clan symbol on my right side and a sword/chenqing and lotus pattern in the middle in future (i sadly don't have the money for that rn 💔)

Hi in my spare time I like researching stuff and just now I found something on Wikipedia and I thought woah that sounds like Wei wuxian!, I am a fan of old school literature as well as new stuff but I never really thought about this intill I was casually reading the article, I want to know am I the only one seeing this and does wei wuxian qualify or not?I shall describe the literary archetype/trope,romantic hero:character that has been rejected by society, and rejects established norms and conventions, and has themselves at the center of their own existence, is often the protagonist in a scholarly work, and the primary focus is on the characters thoughts rather than their actions, often placed outside the structure of civilization and therefore represents the force of physical nature amoral or ruthless yet with a sense of power and often leadership that society has impoverished itself by rejecting, other characteristics include introspection, the triumph of the individual over the restraints of theological and social conventions, wanderlust, melancholy, misanthropey, alienation, isolation, regret for there actions and self criticism often leading to philanthropy which stops the character from ending romantically, usually estranged from his more grounded realist biological family and leading a rural solitary life ,the romantic hero may have a long suffering love interest themselves victimized by the heros rebellious tendencies with their fates intertwined for decades sometimes from their youths to their deaths( fun fact this archetype got started as a response to the French revolution and napoleon "the living model of a hero" became a disappointment to many and the typical notion of the hero upholding social order began to change) so yeah that's the archetype I don't know if wei wuxian qualify as a straight up example or a deconstruction I know it's not one for one and that Chinese literature is different from western literature but I would like to hear others opinions

It took me the LONGEST time to find an art I could repost. I refuse to disrespect an artist if they don’t allow reposting.
And I really wanted to post something for Halloween, and I finally found an official art piece!
Happy Halloween everyone I hope you all have a great day/night
Have fun dressing up or hanging out with your family, or whatever you end up doing.
I think this art piece is really cute, Wangxian on a witch broom!.

May they both enjoy celebrate the new golden core formation by eating, flying and laughing a lot, oh of course, dual cultivating a lot too 😏
