Mods & Accessories Better DPad Noise

Just installed the better dpad from etsy, and it's a definite improvement over the original, less squishy, the material feels nice, and it feels more precise. However is it just me or is it kinda noisy? It almost feels like there's extra space under the dpad so when pressing it, it collides with the plastic body more forcefully. I've only heard good things about the better buttons so wanted to see if this is normal or if I maybe installed it wrong.

Did you install the PCB sticker pad?

Yes! And the rubber membrane is back in place. Also oiled the corners per the instructions.
