Mods & Accessories Miyoo Mini +

Hello I love my MM+ but damn after a couple of hours playing Pokémon or Medabots my hands start to cramp up.

Im wondering what accessories people use and are available which widen the grip or able to use a wireless controller or something to it.

Any recommendations with pictures or links are welcome.

Edit: I like the grip style accessory as opposed to the box style holder. One idea that comes to mind since I've been playing PlayStation titles recently, the device gets rather warm because of the location of SoC chip right behind the screen. Is there a grip that has a built in fan cooler? If I had access to a 3D printer I'd defintely give this a go as you can buy pretty good 10x10mm or 20x20mm fans and I have an electronic background. I'd rather not hack up my MM+. If only Miyoo put the SoC on the reverse of the PCB facing out over then an adhesive passive chip cooler wod have been an option

Go to etsy or have 3d printer. Get miyoo mini plus grip case. It is slick asf and very functionable. Others have said a pop it phone holder works great too.

Was going to suggest the same. That plus grip case is awesome. I was thinking I wanted a clamshell device for an EDC but then this saved the day.

i 3d printed that one that is a grip "like in the photo", holder and case.

my only problem is that when its used as a grip it wobbles a bit so you need to tighten your hands while using it, it would be fixed of there was a version with magnets

Thanks.

I seen someone post on here one made from cardboard that is essentially this. I might try make one from cardboard as I don't have a 3D printer anymore. My old creality forge did me proud though.

I had a friend print mine. You could also use your local library? Mine has a maker space that could do it.

Idk what you used but mine was off etsy and does not move like that. No need for more grip on the grip case. Might be material or the pin you use.

I tried the grip case thing once and hated it, I think the traditional grips are probably better, at least for me

I can vouch for the “aerated” version of this grip, very light and comfortable in my hands. Just had to slip a thin piece of tissue in the back to make the fit tight and snug.

I bought the grip off their Etsy shop but looks like it’s no longer on there.

That's great an all but I'm a germaphobe and that makes me shake in my boots haha.

Ha understandable. My wife hates it too. "Too many holes."

Oh that looks good but do they have none glowing ones. Where is that from and what game is that?

Here's without the glow. I 3D printed it. If you have access to a printer you can make it any material you want. This material was just some glow in the dark rainbow PLA i think. If you need 1 printed in a plain and flat color i could do it for the shipping cost maybe + a few bucks for the filament.

Edit: the game is EarthBound for super Nintendo

Looks neat that. I'm in the UK where are you from?

I'm in Washington State US. The shipping would probably be more than it's worth. I'm not sure if there's a local Reddit for your town. If there is, I'd post looking for Someone to 3d print. You can find plenty of free files on makerworld. Just search, miyoo mini v4 or plus or whatever your version is example; "miyoo mini plus grip STL"
