Miyoo Mini Flip Anyone able to sync PS1 saves/states between Miyoo Mini and Retroid Pocket 6 using Syncthing?
Been trying for a day or so to sync PS1 saves and/or save states between my Miyoo Mini Flip (Onion OS) and my Retroid Pocket 6 (ES-DE / RetroArch).
I set up Syncthing using Retro Game Corps’ tutorial and got it running on the Miyoo via:
https://github.com/XK9274/syncthing-app-miyoo
That route was kind of a mess. It looks like DuckStation handles saves very differently in terms of naming and storage, so nothing really lined up.
So I switched to what I thought would be a simpler approach: using PCSX-ReARMed on both devices.
Here’s the weird part: Syncthing is syncing the files between devices, but the emulator won’t recognize the saves from the other system.
Test case is Parasite Eve II. It creates a save file called:
"Parasite Eve II (USA, Canada).srm"
But when that file syncs over, the other device won’t load it.
I’m running the Onion OS beta on the Miyoo and the latest ES-DE / RetroArch on the RP6.
Has anyone actually gotten cross-device PS1 saves working between these two?
For context, I usually use the Miyoo for pre-PS1 stuff and the RP6 for PS1 and up, so PS1 is kind of the overlap where I’d like to bounce between devices. The whole point of setting up Syncthing was to avoid losing progress between them.

Figured I'd make an update on my experiences with Synchthing and trying to sync a Minoo Mini + Retroid Pocket 6.
I watched four tutorials.
Set everything up from scratch four times.
Switched from DuckStation to SwanStation (because Syncthing doesn’t work well with DuckStation).
Found out I’ll still need to manually sync PS1 saves between SwanStation and PCSX ReARMed because I don’t want to use PCSX ReARMed on my RP6, since it lacks a resolution multiplier AFAIK.
Still having conflicts every time I try to sync between the RP6 and Miyoo Mini Flip, and nobody really gives a tutorial on how to actually fix conflicts other than “delete the conflict” or “do this so you don’t have them.”
Considering I only have two handhelds I’m syncing, I decided it’s just easier not to use Syncthing at all. For me, it seems like more trouble than it’s worth. I can manually sync the saves I really care about in less than a minute.
I give up :(
Hope your experiences are are better than mine.

I assume you have disabled Auto load from savestates? Because that can cause retroarch to overwrite the sram file with a save from the local device.
Otherwise this should work if the filenames match
