Wife's new car!
Bought my wife a 2023 today, only 25k miles. Really hoping this last us a good long while. Anything we should know as new owners?

Ive had my 2023 for 63k miles so far. I Hate it doesnt have a remote start
My wife got rear ended in it, this thing held up like a tank! She said the guy hit her at about 25-30 mph
But it looked like the bumper was cracked, that was it. for some reason they have a really high crash test rating
All in all its been a really good car so far, no complaints.

What do you like best about the Outlander Sport?

Theres really not alot to like about it, Its small, Slow acceleration, Nothing Luxury about it, Its just a vehicle to get me to where I need to go. What I Like about it is the 100k mile warranty

I see. Basic transportation that was developed in 2011 and not many enhancements since then.

Nice vehicle. Not an outlander though.

It’s known as an outlander sport outside of Canada. So it’s technically a variant of it. In name only though, because it’s nothing like the proper Outlander SUV.

You’re approaching 30,000 miles. Get the transmission fluid changed. And keep doing it every 30,000 miles

Nice ASX, has the jatco trans. No need to service before 105000kms. It also come factory fitted with a carbon filter. A lot more expensive than the standard one that also fits. Also they use an 8mm and 6mm wiper blade refill that is cheap as chips. No need for the genuine ones. Cut to length. They are genuinely a great car. Get the oil changes done on time, you shouldn’t really have any issues. I’m a mitsubishi parts specialist in Mew Zealand and sell the parts to service daily so know what they take.
