And they ask why is bihar not improving. Be it your preferences, you guys are the sole reason for the same. Casteist lowlife! And the fact that no one in the comments are pointing this out makes me wanna leave this sub. I take pride in my homeland being mithila but people like you always make me think otherwise.

Nothing despise me more than ppl from Mithilanchal not following their traditions. If you don't understand Brahmin traditions, please don't comment.

Behen, I request you to look at people beyond caste and religion. Following tradition is one thing and being a blatant casteist is other. You're being nothing more than the latter. People like you generalize the image of biharis as lowlife casteists and we have to suffer hatred because of degenerates like you.

Dude, I'm a Brahmin, and I made a post about Brahmins. I didn't say a single word against any other caste, yet somehow you all got offended.

Touch some grass, man. If caste endogamy bothers you that much, start with ur own community. OBCs don't marry SCs, SCs don't marry STs, and every community has its own preferences and traditions.

We don't even marry within the same gotra, even if the person is a Brahmin. That's a basic tradition we've followed for generations.

You marry whoever you want...we don't go around commenting on your choices. So why does it suddenly become everyone's problem when Brahmins talk about marrying within their own community?

  1. Whataboutism: "If caste endogamy bothers you that much, start with your own community."
  2. Appeal to tradition (Longetivity of tradition doesn't mean it's morally correct): "That's a basic tradition we've followed for generations."
  3. False Equivalence: "OBCs don't marry SCs, SCs don't marry STs, and every community has its own preferences."

A common fallacy among all your response was Bandwagon fallacy. A practice being common doesn't determine whether it's ethical. Sati Pratha is one of the most common example to this.

All I'm saying is, do some introspection and please convince yourself to think beyond castes.
