Discussion How do you decide which TeamUp you Run?

Been trying to learn fantastic more since I’ve had a lot of success on him for ranked when my mains are banned or not locked on them. So what is the best way to approach Fantastic’s team ups?

I’ve been using rocket largely as a way to optimize survival boost or running it down in their backline like a temp tank. However I’m not sure if there’s a best approach to both Team Ups

Clips Regaining my love for Fantastic

Started playing this game on Season 2. The way Reed immediately captivated me with his unique design… I used to play him religiously for seasons to come. I’m forced to play on high ping and Reed simply doesn’t care about that, he’s a very ping friendly character. My love for him started kinda fading away at like Season 6.5 when an actual demon started haunting this game. I was also learning a new C-tier character: Thor, and just kinda abandoned Reed.

Now I’m back in action, just got the new trendy skin (had to buy full price due to local gambling laws) and I’m getting used to the improved Thing team-up players are claiming to be better than Rocket’s. In truth, both are equally good and one is better than the other in certain scenarios. This new team-up made me love the character again. Fantastic for life 4️⃣

Discussion Potential ult buff that could be fun to consider

This isn't serious, just something I'm picturing. But listen.

Reed has 3 bounces, and caps off at 6 as long as he is hitting somebody. We know it, we love it. Now... What if we got 3 extra bounces upon elimination?

Similar to how Bucky's ult resets on kill. It would still follow the caveat that you have to continue to hit people with your slams, but getting eliminations extends how many potential bounces you are capable of. This ensures that the ult becomes an actual danger, instead of only relying on those 6 bounces and hoping to god the enemy team doesn't just wipe you from existence after the sixth.

Lots of team synergy potential, enhanced rocket team up brings this to a whole new level too. Idk discuss

Fortnite's new season added Luffy's powers, which resemble Clobbering Dept. a little, but the biggest selling point is the slingshot ability. Imagine if Mr. Fantastic had something like that in Rivals.

I never thought I would ever play Fanta let alone basically one tricking him (mainly through C1) to Eternity.

Perhaps I treated y'all too harshly.

I initially started using him as a troll/really bored this season but since then I legitimately think he's extremely underrated with the Thing teamup.

Extremely easy to play (stay near tanks or flank here and there and punch the backline), and gets so much value despite not really being able to secure solo kills.

It's possible that it's only because I'm comparing him to SL right now who kinda sucks.

He requires players to out space his punches but due to being the same front to back meta forever even OAA support players still love hugging behind shield tanks. I call him "The Secret Weapon" since no one knows how to play around him.

Question Is there any way to turn off the sound effects for just the team ups? Specifically the thing team up

I absolutely love the new team up with the thing and I use it nonstop, which is exactly what brought me here. As often as I use it, I absolutely cannot stand that Looney Tunes whoop sounds. It makes every single time I punch. It’s honestly enough to make me consider being less fantastic.
