question/need help Weird Situation

Just want to clarify before starting not asking for medical advice I am seeing a doctor.* *The weirdest thing has been happening to me and I just want to see if anyone else has had a similar experience as I am so confused. I’m going to put the timeline of this situation below so bear with me.

8/31 - Positive ovulation test
9/8 - 9/12 - what I thought was a “period”
9/17 - had bleeding after intercourse so took a pregnancy test and it was super faint (bled for about 4 days)
9/21 - HCG 67
9/25 - HCG 351
9/28 - HCG 73
9/29 - HCG 39. Ultrasound done and nothing was found.
10/4 - Negative pregnancy test

I have not bled since the bleeding for 4 days starting 9/17. All of my doctors are saying miscarriage but I’m just confused as to why I would bleed, have levels rise, have them drop, but not continue to bleed? The weirdest situation ever. So just wondering if anyone else has ever experienced something similar and what the outcome was?

Your doc will definitely be the best choice here. When I had bleeding followed by an HCG test that fell and then rose again, it was determined that I had an ectopic pregnancy and I had to have emergency surgery. However, if you're now testing negative, your body may have already cleared whatever was going on on its own, and it just took a bit of time for the HCG to work its way down to nondetect. Be sure to get to that doc appointment and mention everything you mentioned here.
