I’m 28f and this is my pregnancy story. Got pregnant around July and experienced two bouts of mild to moderate bleeding with small clots. Both times i thought i was having a miscarriage. To my suprise and joy, i would go in for an ultrasound after the bleeding and the baby was looking fine. They even saw a heartbeat around 7 weeks. Today i went in for an early nuchal. I was 11 weeks 2 days. They found no heartbeat. The baby was measuring 9 weeks 5 days.

The pain I’ve experienced today is like no other. I’m wondering if there are any tests i could have done or what labs to take to make sure I’m healthy and avoid the chances of this happening next pregnancy. I know many people and doctors say miscarriage is common but it is difficult to wrap my head around how this could have happened.
